Spring has sprung and summer is coming!
It's time for the Ludlow Park Tag Sale!

Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Registered participants will have their table listed on the map distributed on the day of the sale.

Start Cleaning those Basements and Attics; your trash is someone's treasure.

Want to shop instead of sit at your table, but need to make room for the new purchases?

Donate your items in good condition to the Ludlow Green / LPRA tag sale table.

Proceeds from this table will be shared by Ludlow Green and the Ludlow Park Residents Association.

Contact Renee Kelvin at rskelvin@verizon.net or 914/476-1609 to arrange drop off or pick-up of items.

Renee is also looking for volunteers to help staff the table. Please call her to volunteer a few hours of your time.

Nominations Open!

The Ludlow Park Residents Association (LPRA) Board, a friendly group of people who care about our neighborhood's issues, is recruiting!

The primary requirements are an interest in attending our locally held monthly meetings (the fourth Monday of the month from 8:00 - 9:30 PM) and membership in LPRA. Is it your time to serve or do you know someone who you think is ready to make a contribution? We'll gladly approach potential candidates if you prefer. Past Board Members are welcome to rejoin!

Our monthly discussions deal with effective ways to tackle:

problems (e.g. crime, speeding on neighborhood streets, sewage treatment plant impacts, the public schools),

dreams (e.g. a dog park, Tag Sale),

good citizenship (e.g. holding a Candidates' Night prior to elections), and

neighborly camaraderie (e.g. Block Parties, International Potluck Party)

Potential candidates who are not currently LPRA members must join before our June General Membership meeting and elections.

Please let Peter Boulos or Kathe Hertzberg know if you want to nominate someone or are interested in serving on the board yourself by emailing them at Nominations@LudlowPark.org. If you are interested, you are welcome to attend the May 22 board meeting to test the waters.
